A dry red wine of the autochthonous Dolcetto d’Alba variety of Piedmont. The name of the grape dolce comes from the Italian, sweet, but sweetness is only a feature of grapes rather than wine which is made from them. Dolcetto is deeply rooted in the winemaking tradition of Piedmont and very loved by its residents. This goes well with most dishes, from hors d‘oeuvres to main courses. Dolcetto is a simple and pleasent wine to drink after the meal. It is characterized by intense ruby color with purple hues. Scent notes of ripe cherries bring the taste is pleasantly dry, full, with a delicate hint of bitter.
